It's probably easiest to refer to myself as a non-traditionalist Catholic.
Catholicism is a branch of Christianity worshipping the holy Trinity, the father, the son, the holy spirit.
Folk Catholicism blends folk practices- such as local superstition, like leaving bread and milk out for the Fae- with Catholicism.
In particular, Irish folk Catholicism is where I lie, as I'm half-Irish myself and grew up with it.


Knowing the warning signs of when a group is controlling is vital to exploration.

I encourage you to be compassionate to people in cults, fringe groups or otherwise insular religions.
They thrive on showing their members that the us vs them mentality is real, that the outside world hates them because they're right.
